BRONZE WINNERS IN
CDS YEAR-END TOURNAMENT

The U9 CDS NYK Black team finished the season strong in the CDS Finals tournament weekend that concluded on April 13, 2025.  The team played a tier higher (versus the regular season) against strong opponents – George Bell, Faustina, North Toronto, Ted Reeve, and West Mall.   The team showed incredible perseverance and passion in a hard-fought win to take home the bronze medal!  Down 0-3 with 3 minutes left,  the team clawed their way back including tying the game with 1.8 seconds left, then won in a thrilling overtime shootout 4-3 against North Toronto!  What an unbelievable finish to cap off the season!  Congratulations to the players and coaches on a strong season and taking home the bronze medal!
