FORD DRILLS AND SKILLS COMPETITION
The Ford company hosted a contest for local youth hockey teams who were nominated and selected for their commitment to helping out and being involved in the community. The Knights Minor Novice (White) Select team entered the contest and, through a committed effort by the parents towards email voting, was selected for the Ford Drills and Skills program as one of the secondary prize winners. The team won the opportunity to attend a Toronto Marlies game against Grand Rapids followed by a one hour clinic hosted by Toronto Maple Leaf Head of Training at the Ricoh Coliseum. The team enjoyed being shown on the Marlies scoreboard and were eager participants in all the drills that were run at the Ricoh as shown in the accompanying pictures.
